About Top Gun Olympics
Top Gun Olympics, a fitness competition featuring military teams, first responders, JROTC, and the public, is returning for its second year, with the event taking place on April 26th at YMCA Weston during Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale. Join us for helicopters and jet flyovers to salute America's finest in action!

Purpose Statement
The Top Gun Olympics is a dynamic, team-based event designed to unite communities, honor military traditions, and spark interest in service through high-energy competition. By blending military-style physical challenges with team spirit, this event serves as an experience that brings the military lifestyle to life. Participants gain firsthand exposure to core values like teamwork, discipline, resilience, and strength under pressure—traits central to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

Attention Competitors!
Are you ready to prove your strength, endurance, and willpower? The Top Gun Trials are here, giving YOU a chance to compete at the Annual Top Gun Olympics.
This is bigger than just competition—it’s a movement to combine purpose with your training. Scores set by this year's Top Gun Oympics champioins will create the standard for ongoing goals for YMCA South FLorida members to strive to beat.
How to Qualify
- Open to the public – anyone can compete!
- Entry Fee: Upload a video to the YMCA Top Gun Trials Missions found in the Badger: Operation Gamify App
- 8 Trials – 4 male, 4 female categories.
- Scoring: Max reps in 1 minute for each trial. Competitor with the most reps wins.
- Tiebreaker: The competitor with the most likes on their submission in the Badger: Operation Gamify App wins!
The Trials - One Minute Max Reps
- Trial of Endurance - Burpees
- Trial of Strength - Pullups
- Trial of Power - Kettlebell Snatches (54lbs male / 35lbs female)
- Trial of Warriors - Ammo Can Lifts (30lb dumbbell military press)
